Black tapware is a striking and noticeable feature installed at Quality Hotel Batman’s Hill.

Inner-city Melbourne property Quality Hotel Batman’s Hill on Collins has completed a six-month, $1.75 million renovation as part of a wider project which will see building improvements continued into 2020.

Highlights of the room include a new art-deco hanging light and wooden detailing in the bedrooms and living spaces along with an etching of the hotel’s façade within the bedheads. Black tapware has also been installed in all bathrooms, aimed at accentuating the new materials installed in the rooms. Improvements have been carried out to all of the hotel’s 190 rooms.

Further environmentally-friendly initiatives have been installed at the hotel, including branded shower timers gifted to guests in all rooms to encourage water conservation. A house credit of $10 per room is given to guests who decline the daily housekeeping service, while guests are also encouraged to leave used soap in the room for recycling.

General Manager Kevin Birchall said the hotel team was proud to unveil the modernised rooms to guests.

“This exciting project demonstrates our commitment to providing our guests with quality, affordable accommodation in the heart of Melbourne and we have options to suit everyone, whether you’re staying with us for business or leisure.”
