Ovolo Hotels has named two new General Managers have taken charge at their new posts at Ovolo Central in Hong Kong and Ovolo 1888 Darling Harbour in Sydney.
Former QT Hotels Director of Sales, Joanne Sproule has relocated to Hong Kong to take up a new role leading the team at Ovolo Central. The move comes following the hotel’s recent floor-to-ceiling “revolution” or renovation and redesign which was completed a few weeks ago.
Ovolo has also promoted within its own ranks, taking former Ovolo Woolloomooloo Operations Manager, Tanya Ritter, and installed her as the new GM at Ovolo 1888 in Darling Harbour. In doing so, Ritter takes with her the prestige of having been involved in taking the company’s Woolloomooloo property to #1 on TripAdvisor among Australian hotels.
“I’m excited for the challenge of moving on from Operations Manager at Woolloomooloo to the hotel group’s second Sydney hotel, 1888 Darling Harbour as Hotel Manager, challenging the team to raise the bar, taking this hotel from great to greater,” Ritter said.
