Stamford Plaza Adelaide is now sending its catering with Uber Eats.

Businesses and event planners in South Australia eager on some high-end hotel catering can now access the menus of the Stamford Plaza Adelaide after the hotel joined forces with Uber Eats to deliver its products to the city.

Dubbed ‘Catering 2 Go’, the hotel will sell takeaway boxes capable of suiting events from 10 attendees and up. Each catering box will contain 18-24 pieces depending on the menu offering and the quantity required. Orders can be placed up to four hours in advance.

Stamford Plaza Adelaide General Manager, David Donald, said the hotel was anticipating strong demand for its new catering delivery service.

“With the popularity of La Boca Argentinian Bar & Grill, the success of our High Tea events and our reputation for quality food and service, we think this new, external catering solution will be highly sought after for many business and personal events where people want great food in their own boardroom or at their own private function”.

He added that the hotel recognised the opportunity at hand to expand the hotel kitchen’s reach and make their hotel menus available on a wider level as catering for corporate events, functions, team building and planning meetings and private occasions.

Menu items include cocktail-style foods such as churros with fruit and chocolate, cakes, burger sliders, croissants, La Boca’s signature Empanadas, Picada or Lunchador boxes, Stamford’s signature curry puffs as well as the hotel’s take-away High Tea.
