The front desk at the new tri-branded Marriott International hotel

Downtown Nashville in the United States has become home to history as Marriott International opened its first hotel to feature three separate brands under one roof.

The 21-storey, USD$140 million North Point Hospitality newbuild offers business or leisure guests a choice of either the AC Hotels, Residence Inn or Springhill Suites depending on whether they’re seeking design-brand, extended stay or suite-style accommodations. The hotel’s room breakdown includes 209 rooms designed as AC Hotels, 136 Residence Inn suites and 125 separate Springhill Suites.

The pioneering concept could set a precedent as to whether a tri-branded concept could work in future developments in Australia. Marriott currently operates 98 dual-branded hotels worldwide, with another 144 under development, but no others with three brands under one roof.

Slightly delayed from its mid-2018 projected opening, the new hotel is located across from the Nashville Convention Centre. Guests can access a number of joint facilities within the building including an indoor/outdoor rooftop pool, bar and fitness centre. Dedicated meeting space and conference facilities are available on the 21st floor. Guests, especially those in extended-stay accommodations. can have their groceries delivered. A 24-hour food and beverage market is also available.

“We are incredibly proud to debut Marriott International’s first newly built triple-brand property created from the ground up in the heart of exciting downtown Nashville,” North Point Hospitality CEO S. Jay Patel commented.
