Swiss-Belhotel plans to double its presence in Australia in the next new years.

Hotel management brand Swiss-Belhotel has added its suite of hotels to the Qantas Frequent Flyer partnership program, allowing members to earn points with every qualifying stay in Australia and around the world.

The pact will allow QFF members to earn three points for every one Australian dollar spent on accommodation at Swiss-Belhotel properties in Australia, with one point awarded for every US dollar spent on Swiss-Belhotel bookings at 55 other brand hotels in destinations such as New Zealand, Bali, Jakarta and many other cities and tourist hotspots.

Points will be awarded on Published Rates, Best Available Rates, Best Flexi Rates and Walk-in Rates booked directly with the hotel or on its official website and following the presentation of a valid QFF membership card. Bookings cannot be made through the Qantas Frequent Flyer website or through any travel agent or online booking website.

QFF members can earn points on a maximum of three rooms per night and a maximum stay of seven consecutive nights under one booking in the same hotel. In overseas hotels, there must be a minimum 24-hour gap between stays at the same hotel in order to earn points on all nights spent.

Swiss-Belhotel currently has two properties in Australia – one in Brisbane and one in Sydney – but has announced plans to open up to ten new locations over the next three years. New hotels in Sydney and Melbourne are tipped to headline this brand expansion.

Swiss-Belhotel International Chairman and President Gavin M Faull said Qantas Frequent Flyer was one of the world’s most popular airline loyalty programs and its partnership with the brand will be rewarding for loyal guests of both companies.

“As one of the world’s leading airlines with a global network and a loyal customer base, Qantas Frequent Flyer is the perfect partner for us. Through this exciting new arrangement, we look forward to welcoming many more Qantas Frequent Flyers to our hotels in future.”
