DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin has commenced the million-dollar upgrade to its 197 guest rooms and conference and events facilities.
Designed by CIRCA 2000, each guest room will feature a neutral colour palette that reflects the tones of the Northern Territory, as well as complementing the hotels Esplanade and Harbour Views. Each room will get new carpet, custom-built furniture pieces, refreshed soft furnishings and an upgrade to the bathroom. Each room will also feature a Sweet Dreams® by DoubleTree, with the current queen beds being replaced with king-sized beds. The in-room entertainment system will be upgraded with the installation of an internet protocol television system and 43” LED HD televisions.
The design of the hotel’s conference and events space will complement the guest rooms. All seven event spaces and facilities, including the Grand Ballroom that caters for 410 guests, will receive new energy efficient lighting.
DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin is set to re-welcome guests on 9 April 2018.
