William Inglis Hotel, MGallery by Sofitel is set to welcome its first guests in January 2018.

The five-star boutique lodging forms part of the new $140m precinct developed by thoroughbred horse sales company William Inglis & Son Ltd called Riverside Stables.

It is set across eight levels and features 144 rooms – each personalised to the champion racehorse it is named after – and a host of hospitality and leisure facilities.

AccorHotels Chief Operating Officer Pacific, Simon McGrath, said: “The William Inglis hotel is a significant and exciting addition to our growing boutique hotel collection.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Inglis on this prestigious hotel development for south-western Sydney. Not only will it provide much-needed high-end boutique accommodation to service the racing industry and clients of Inglis, but we also believe it will be a major driver and drawcard for regional tourism across both the corporate and leisure sectors.”

“The William Inglis Hotel will be a special addition to our boutique collection of MGallery by Sofitel hotels across Australia and abroad. Each hotel in the collection excludes its own individual personality, style and stories which are layered into the details of design, signature dishes and cocktails and their destinations, and the William Inglis Hotel will be no different.

“We look forward to welcoming guests to the new hotel in early 2018 and delivering exclusive experiences and memorable moments that inspire lifelong memories,” he said.

Guests staying at the new property will also be able to enjoy world-class hospitality facilities onsite including the all-day dining paddock-to-plate restaurant Newmarket Room.

Headed up by chef Samuel Bull, the menu will focus on robust food with rural soul but refined elegance.

There is also a stunning rooftop bar and pool deck atop the hotel lined with cabanas and sun loungers overlooking 300 acres of greenery.

For conferences and events, the hotel has an extensive range of facilities including a sales arena, meeting rooms and private dining.

The sales arena is a versatile space for up to 1,000 guests with a variety of seating options from theatre, classroom or banquet to cocktail and boardroom.

The William Inglis Hotel, MGallery by Sofitel is situated on Governor Macquarie Drive, just 2o minutes from Sydney International Airport and 30km from the Sydney CBD.
