Pan Pacific Hotels Group is set to debut its Pan Pacific brand in Myanmar with the opening of Pan Pacific Yangon in November.

The 25-storey Pan Pacific Yangon sits within Junction City, an integrated commercial and lifestyle development with an excellent variety of dining and recreational options located along Shwedagon Pagoda Road.

“We’re excited about the opening of Pan Pacific Yangon, the first international luxury five-star hotel in the city,” said Pan Pacific Hotels Group Chief Executive Officer, Lothar Nessmann.

“It will strongly appeal to business and leisure travellers alike as a modern and refreshing retreat, and set a benchmark for luxury and service excellence in the local hospitality scene.

“As one of the largest hotel companies in the city, we are committed to Myanmar as a strategic growth market as we expand our footprint in Asia Pacific.

“We look forward to contributing further to Myanmar’s flourishing tourism and travel industry, where we already operate the award-winning PARKROYAL Yangon and PARKROYAL Nay Pyi Taw,” Nessmann said.

Pan Pacific Yangon’s double-height sky lobby on the sixth floor will offer views across to the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda while the exclusive Pacific Club on the uppermost floor of the hotel will boast spectacular city vistas.

In addition to 336 beautifully furnished guest rooms and suites, some of which offer panoramic river views, guests can indulge in an extensive range of refreshing facilities such as a swimming pool, St Gregory spa and fitness centre, as well as numerous dining outlets including all-day dining restaurant Saan, Hai Tien Lo Cantonese restaurant, The Teak Bar, Pacific Club Lounge and Pacific Marketplace.

A spacious ballroom and a selection of meeting rooms will provide ideal venues for meetings and events.
