The Mayor of Townsville, Cr Jenny Hill has officially opened the newest addition to the Quest Serviced Apartments network and its second property in Townsville, the $25 million Quest Townsville on Eyre.

Quest General Manager – Brand, Tony Gauci and Quest Townsville on Eyre Franchise Manager, Andy Hodgson joined Cr Hill to celebrate the grand opening, with a cocktail party held at the new property.

Guests were invited to tour the brand new apartments and facilities, and were thrilled to meet members of the Townsville Fire basketball team, who Quest is a proud sponsor of.

Cr Hill was then formally welcomed by Quest and addressed guests, during which she welcomed the opening of Quest’s second Townsville property and thanked the leading serviced apartment operator for its continued investment in the city.

“The opening of the new Quest property and the company’s decision to increase its stake in the city’s accommodation market is great news for Townsville,” Cr Hill said.

“It’s a vote of confidence in Townsville and the long term investment opportunities the city has to offer.

“Having a highly respected national chain now operating two properties in the city sends a strong signal to other potential investors that Townsville is a city going places,” she said.

Gauci expressed his excitement about Quest’s continued expansion in North Queensland.

“I am very pleased to be officially opening our second Townsville property. I have a great deal of confidence in the future growth and success of Townsville and North Queensland, so it only makes sense to continue building and strengthening Quest’s presence here,” he said.

“This is the first milestone in what will be a momentous year for Quest, with 15 properties across Australia and New Zealand, including a further three properties to open here in Queensland.

“We thank Cr Hill and the Townsville community for continuing to support our existing Townsville property and embrace the brand new Quest Townsville on Eyre. I look forward to seeing this property grow and succeed,” he said.
