Meetings NZ is set to be held in Auckland again in 2014, but at a bigger venue.
For the past two years Auckland’s SkyCity Convention Centre has hosted Meetings, but next year New Zealand’s largest business tourism trade exhibition will shift to Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds.
“The number of exhibitors wanting to display at Meetings grows each year and we just need more exhibition space if we’re cater to that demand,” said CINZ chief executive Alan Trotter.
Meetings event manager Jeanette Stanton said SkyCity Convention Centre has been a fantastic venue for six Meetings events, since 2005.
“We’ve loved having Meetings there, but the move to the ASB Showgrounds will allow us to expand and do things a bit differently,” she said. “We’re very excited about the possibilities it opens up and can’t wait to welcome exhibitors and buyers back to an even bigger and better Meetings.”
Meetings 2014 will be held over two days, June 18 and 19.
