Meet Morgan – a recent graduate of online learning
With the freedom to choose when and where he studied, juggling full-time work and a full-time study load wasn’t difficult for Morgan Stephenson. He managed to continue with his job at InterContinental Melbourne, The Rialto, where he worked as a Guest Service Agent, while completing a Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management) online through William Blue’s online portal.

“From a professional standpoint I was able to continue my career progression in a full time capacity while still studying towards my academic goals. I especially loved the opportunity online learning gave me to study from my favourite cafe, park and even on the way to work,” explains Morgan.

Morgan found the workload very manageable and says that the ease of navigating the learning portal makes for an enjoyable learning environment. “The discussion boards are a great help and the lecturers play a very active role to ensure my questions and comments are always answered.”

Despite not being on campus Morgan has managed to establish relationships with his lecturers and other students. “The forums are a great platform to meet other students, find common interests and identify solutions together. William Blue’s career management facility also offers you great work experience opportunities.”
