70 Industry Leaders to Speak at ANZPHIC & Serviced Apartments Summit

The greatest ever line up of global, regional and local accommodation industry leaders and experts to be seen on the stage in Australia will gather in Sydney from 25 to 27 July 2012 at the 12th annual Australia, New Zealand & Pacific Hotel Industry Conference (ANZPHIC) and its linked event, the 2nd annual Serviced Apartments Summit.

Reflecting the increased pace of business and the forward-looking approach being taken across the industry, the 2012 theme for the events is Fast Forward and global leaders from as far away as the USA, Middle East and Asia will join leaders from Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific in taking the pulse of the industry and assessing the potential for further near term growth in the region.

Areas to be covered during the three days of the events include: operating and investment performance; key transactions, investors and deal drivers; new build and renovation initiatives; emerging brands; airline and competitive market impacts, industry innovations; management rights and much more.

A feature of the 2012 Programs will be one on one interviews with some of the world’s most important and most influential industry leaders, including:

 

  • Eric Danziger – President & CEO of Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel group with over 7,200 hotels
  • KP Ho – Chairman and Founder of Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s most revered resort brands

  • Azran Osman-Rani – Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia X, a rapidly growing long haul, budget airline that recently began services to Australia
