Fairmont Resorts are serving up low-calorie cocktails

With the Northern Summer swimsuit season approaching, low-calorie cocktails are popping up on Fairmont Hotels’ bar and restaurant menus around the world.

Fairmont Heliopolis and Towers in Cairo uses fresh and natural ingredients like fruit and muddled herbs to add flavor without adding excess calories to their upcoming collection of nearly 30 skinny drinks.

At the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver the Bali Hai combines pear and thyme infused gin, agave nectar, fresh lime, ginseng tincture and coconut water, and weighs in at less than 200 calories.

In Toronto The Fairmont Royal York offers an entire collection of Skinny Sips under 250 calories, while The Fairmont San Francisco has created the Skinny Daisy martini for just 220 calories – easily burned off walking the hills of San Francisco.

While relaxing after a round of golf at Fairmont Mayakoba in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, guests can indulge in a May-Chay Skinny-tini prepared with chaya, a native plant species celebrated by the Mayans as a “miracle” plant. Recognized for its powerful dose of vitamins, proteins, and minerals, chaya has also been linked to lowering blood sugar levels.
