For the first time in eight years, flights to Hamilton Island will feature Business Class and the move to introduce the cabin by Virgin Australia is set to boost luxury traffic to the destination.

“We applaud Virgin Australia’s new Business Class offering to Hamilton Island,” said Hamilton Island’s CEO Glenn Bourke.

“The service complements our recent significant investment in luxury tourism and will be well received by our guests staying at qualia and the Hamilton Island Yacht Club Villas,” he said.

Virgin Australia operates Boeing 737 aircraft to Hamilton Island from Brisbane and Sydney and the new Business Class cabin features complimentary food, drinks, inflight entertainment and a 38” seat pitch.
