Quest Serviced Apartments has recognised its outstanding franchisees and employees at a recent gala awards dinner in Melbourne.

The major gong, 2011 Quest Franchisee of the Year Award went to Quest veterans Tony and Jenny O’Reilly, franchisees of Quest Spring Hill in Queensland.

According to the company, the O’Reillys were recognised for” their consistently strong business performance in their market, excellent staff management and leadership… Tony and Jenny, along with their business partner Roger Gorman have been model franchisees for many years, receiving three Queensland Franchise of the Year Awards in as many years”.

This year saw significant growth for the Quest group, which adding nine new properties in Australia and one in New Zealand plus 20 new franchisees to its network.

Paul Constantinou, Chairman, Quest Serviced Apartments thanked franchisees and employees for their contribution to Quest’s success despite challenging business conditions throughout 2011.

“This has been a very successful year for Quest, despite challenging global economic conditions. The new properties we’ve opened this year were all conceived during the GFC when the majority of the market went into damage control,” Constantinou said.

“We kept our focus firmly on the future and worked very hard to progress new developments – thanks to the commitment of our entire group, we have seen these projects come to fruition this year.

“It’s been a tough time to be in business, but by focusing as a group on the task at hand and to exceeding the expectations of our clients and guests, our business has grown in leaps and bounds.

“We not only opened nine new properties, we are also on track to achieve more than 12 per cent revenue growth for the second year running.

“Our results are a testament not only to the hard work and commitment of our people but also to our product, our systems and our brand,” he said.
