Crown Perth is offering hospitality workers an opportunity to expand their on-the-job training through a new Food and Beverage (F&B) course at its Registered Training Organisation, the Crown College.

The new Certificate III in Hospitality program at Crown College provides Crown Perth F&B team members with a nationally recognised qualification that they can complete while still able to work.

There are currently 11 team members in Crown Perth’s F&B enrolled in the 14-month course, which aims to sharpen their skills in key areas such as barista, cocktails, service and coaching.

As one of Western Australia’s largest single site employers, Crown College nationally contributes to approximately 10% of all Certificate III in Hospitality graduates through its Gaming, Hospitality and Security intakes.

“Workforce development is one of the most powerful ways Crown contributes to Western Australia’s tourism economy,” said Crown Perth CEO, Brian Pereira.

“By investing in training and upskilling, we’re strengthening not only our own venues, but the entire hospitality ecosystem in Western Australia.”
