Time is running out to enter the 2025 Australasia-Pacific Hotel Design Awards with the submission deadline of Friday March 21, 2025 looming.

The awards will recognise exceptional hotel projects across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, that were completed and opened in 2024.

The winners will be announced at leading hotel architecture and interior design conference, Design Inn Symposium, hosted by HM Magazine, at Hilton Adelaide on Tuesday May 6, 2025.

The annual Australasia-Pacific Hotel Design Awards is a celebration of projects that demonstrate design innovation, a commitment to sustainability design practices, accessibility and exceptional guest experience.

Projects can be entered under one of three categories: new-build properties, conversions and refurbishments. A winner will be declared in each category as well as an overall winner who takes home the Paul Davis Award for the Australasia-Pacific Hotel of the Year.

Who can enter the 2024 Australasia-Pacific Hotel Design Awards?

The Australasia-Pacific Hotel Design Awards celebrate design-focused hospitality projects from across Australasia and the Pacific that demonstrate innovation and provide exceptional guest experiences.

While designers, hotel representatives, and owners may enter a project, the designer’s input is required to ensure judges have all of the necessary information about a project.

The awards are open to all market segments in the Australian, New Zealand and South Pacific (including Hawaii) hotel industry. Properties of all sizes, and in any location in the region, can be entered.

New-build hotels and conversions must have opened in 2024 and refurbishment projects completed in 2024 to qualify.

A panel of judges, made up of top designers and HM editors, will consider design concept, function, impact on guest experience, innovation, community collaboration/engagement, accessibility and sustainable outcomes.

Submissions close Friday March 21, 2025, with the winners announced and awards bestowed at Design Inn Symposium, Hilton Adelaide on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
