Close to 1000 industry leaders are set to gather at Sydney’s International Convention Centre this evening to celebrate the brightest stars of the hotel industry at the 22nd annual HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence, sponsored by Sealy Posturepedic.

Widely regarded as the industry’s night of nights, the event returns to the ICC Sydney for the first time since 2019 to celebrate its people, the projects they’ve worked on, stellar properties and groups.

A total of 47 categories will be presented on the night. View the list below and see the nominees here.

“Once again, the entries this year – from chefs to housekeepers, five-star resorts and apartment hotels – have been incredible and it has been terrific to see thousands of staff and properties highlight many achievements in another busy year,” said HM Awards Founder, Chief Judge and Editor-In-Chief, James Wilkinson.

“What’s also been fantastic is the support of our major partners who have once again made this event happen, including our presentation partner Sealy; our co-hosts the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School powered by Torrents University Australia, Australia’s leading industry super fund, Hostplus, and for the first time fbm.

“Without these fantastic major sponsors and our Award Presenters and Supporting Companies (listed on the preceding page) this event would not be possible. On behalf of the HM Magazine team, thank you again for your support.”

Supporting Sala Baï Hotel and Restaurant school

On the night, attendees can sponsor a student’s training using pledge cards available or support the cause by purchasing De Beaurepaire Wines 2022 ‘Blanchefleur’ Blanc de Blancs, available at the Sparkling Bar.
