Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has signed its second hotel in South East Asia this year with a Kuala Lumpur property set to open in 2027.
The Langham, Kuala Lumpur is a partnership with Artisan Hospitality, a joint venture led by a subsidiary of Singapore’s Oxley Holdings.
The luxury hotel will form part of the Oxley Towers KLCC complex, a premium development in the Golden Triangle neighbourhood of the CBD.
“We look forward to bringing our flagship brand to Kuala Lumpur, a gateway city in a thriving part of the world that is also home to a notably robust travel market,” said LHG Chief Executive Officer, Bob van den Oord.
“The Langham, Kuala Lumpur will be a telling symbol of our vision to craft iconic, world-class hotels in Southeast Asia and beyond.”
The 198-room hotel, located in the upper half of a new structure offering views of the cityscape, will include a sky pool, an outpost of The Langham, Hong Kong’s three Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant, T’ang Court; a destination bar; a new branch of The Langham, London’s iconic Palm Court eatery; and LHG’s Chuan Spa, a fitness centre, banquet hall and meeting rooms.
“We are excited to collaborate with Langham Hospitality Group, a trusted name in the hospitality industry,” said Oxley Holdings Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Ching Chiat-kwong.
“Our partnership will not only introduce a spectacular hotel to Oxley Towers, but an elevated luxury brand in The Langham.
“This will strengthen the development’s position as a premier destination for business and leisure travellers.”
The latest signing takes the number of The Langham hotels in South East Asia to three.
