EVT has introduced its first QT Hotels and Resorts’ property to South East Asia with the opening of QT Singapore.

The 134-room luxury lifestyle hotel launches following a major refurbishment and rebranding of the heritage Hotel Telegraph on Robinson Road.

“After a phenomenal transformation, QT Singapore is ready to bring its bold and creatively charged hospitality to the heart of Singapore’s culturally vibrant district,” said EVT Hotels and Resorts Director, Norman Arundel.

“With a new signature restaurant led by award-winning chef Sean Connolly and the stunning labyrinth rooftop pool and bar, guests will stay, dine and immerse themselves with unexpected delight.

“We can’t wait to welcome local and international guests through our doors and begin a new chapter for this iconic building and for QT globally.”

Hotel owner, Charles Tan of Sunray Singapore, said the opening marks an important moment for the local market.

“The refurbishment of this heritage building by Sunray, a seasoned player in this field, marks an exciting new chapter for the tourism landscape in Singapore,” Tan said.

“Coupled with Sunray’s commitment to innovation and excellence, EVT will bring a premium hospitality, food and beverage experience into Southeast Asia.

“We look forward to showcasing QT Singapore to guests and immersing in the vibrant design-led spaces QT has to offer”.

Designed by Nic Graham, founder of acclaimed interior design studio Nic Graham and Associates, in collaboration with the EVT Design Team, QT Singapore blends the brand’s playful approach to design with Singapore’s vibrant culture and style behind the building’s original neo-classical façade.

Bold colours, artistic furniture, delicate lighting and woven rattan feature throughout the hotel, while local and international artists bring a contemporary infusion of culture.

Each of the guest rooms and suites feature a large ensuite bathroom and separate walk-in rain shower, wireless Bose speakers and Dyson hair products.

Team members, known as QT’s Directors of Chaos, are dressed in a bespoke uniform, inspired by the multicultural traditional outfits of Singapore, handcrafted by local designer Hu Ruixian of Studio HHFZ.

The hotel features two dining venues Cygnet and Rooftop at QT – with rooftop pool – under the direction of international chef and restaurateur Sean Connolly.
