Australia’s Sunshine Coast will soon welcome a heritage boutique accommodation with the opening of Maleny Lodge on May 30.

The hinterland property dates back to 1905, when it was known as Rosedale, and it has been a restoration project for owners Andrew and Lucy Pink since they purchased it in 2021.

“It has been a very careful balance between preserving the distinctive heritage character of the property and renovating it for the ultimate in contemporary luxury,” said Andrew Pink.

“It’s all in the detail. Our seven individually designed bedrooms are not only beautiful, but we have designed them with the comfort of our guests in mind.”

The pair are also responsible for the recent transformation of a 1980s motel in Maroochydore into the Loea Boutique Hotel.

The adults-only accommodation features four large ensuite guest rooms, all named after the original family members who lived there, luxury bathrooms with handcrafted artisan tiles, vintage furniture and trinkets, balancing modern comforts and luxury finishes with old charm and original features.

The original part of the house, which includes a fully equipped country kitchen, lounge/dining room and outdoor dining area, is also available for renting as a complete property.

The Owners expect Maleny Lodge to attract special events including small weddings, retreats, gatherings and location shoots.
