IHG Hotels & Resort’s luxury boutique brand Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants made its Australian debut this week with the opening of Kimpton Margot Sydney on Monday.

Located at 339 Pitt Street, the heritage-listed property pays homage to the 1930s with 172 deco-inspired rooms and close to 600 pieces of art throughout the nine floors.

Kimpton Margot Sydney is likely to appeal to pet owners, with guests permitted to bring their pet, big or small, in line with the brand’s “if it fits in the lift” mantra.

The brand, which is famed for its unique design, quality service and locally-loved restaurants and bars, introduces Luke’s Kitchen as its go-to spot in Sydney for an à la carte breakfast, lunch or dinner.
