Kimpton Margot Sydney, a heritage-listed art deco building reimagined as Sydney’s latest luxe hotel, will open to guests on February 14.

Spanning nine levels, with 600 pieces of art and 172 deco-inspired rooms and suites, the hotel says it offers guests “heritage with a modem edge”.

Design is at the forefront of the guest experience, with bold patterns, plush furnishings and botanical displays.

Guests are invited to explore the pillared lobby, rooftop swimming pool and terrace, conference and event spaces, as well as public spaces and restaurants.

Luke’s Kitchen, run by renowned chef Luke Mangan, provides breakfast, lunch and dinner, alongside a unique wine experience Cellar By Luke, where guests can enjoy a feast surrounded by walls of Australian and International wines.

The pillared lobby is a nod to the 1930s

The property also features The Wilmot Bar, a 1930’s-style bar with curated cocktail menu.

The hotel invites guests to come together in various locations around the hotel for complimentary drinks during what it calls Social Hour, between 5-6pm. Each day, different drinks are on offer from boutique Australian wines to Kimpton’s signature Margot cocktail, and the location is ever changing.

Mindfulness and wellness are high on the agenda at Kimpton Margot. A partnership with yoga studio Egg of the Universe allows guests to take part in yoga workouts via the tablet or TV in their room. Yoga mats and accessories are available to guests at no charge.

Mr Smith amenities are available in each room, but Kimpton Margot’s promise of “Forgot it, we’ve got it”, means all guests can access additional products as they need such as a GHD, dry shampoo, tie, pocket square or shoe polish.
