IHG’s popular Holiday Inn brand has opened the doors to a stunning new property in New Zealand’s adventure playground, Queenstown.

Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park General Manager, Mathew Simister, welcomed the firsts guests today (Dec 9) at the 182 room and suite property, which he said has a fantastic location to explore the greater Central Otago region.

“As travel returns, we are excited to welcome guests to our flagship, next-generation design Holiday Inn hotel in New Zealand,” he said.

The opening comes in an exciting period of growth for the Holiday Inn brand in Australasia – with other refurbishments and new build hotels in the pipeline – and globally as it prepares to notch up its 70th year in 2022.

Headlining the property, Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park features the brand’s next generation design with an open lobby feature that has quicky proven popular with travellers across the globe.

Mirroring a laid-back living room, the new open lobby design allows guests to move seamlessly between the expansive fireplace, Giants Restaurant and Bar, the media lounge, cosy seating areas, and an E-Bar with plug-in power, free Wi-Fi, and wireless printing.
