Event Hospitality has revealed the first of three new properties to join the Independent Collection in South Australia, introducing The Terrace Hotel, Adelaide.
Previously known as The Sage, the new Terrace Hotel is located on South Terrace and are all owned by the same entity – 208 South Terrace Pty Ltd. The hotel will reopen under its new operating name from 1 July 2021.
The 136-room Terrace Hotel Adelaide is located on the southern edge of the city centre and sits opposite Adelaide Park, located close to major city attractions including Adelaide Central Market, Rundle Mall, South Parklands and the Adelaide Hills. Guests can select from room configurations including Queen and Twin Rooms, Executive Rooms, Suites and Family Rooms, with facilities including an on-site restaurant and three flexible function spaces.
Event Hospitality Director of Hotels and Resorts, Norman Arundel, said he was looking forward to introducing more new brands for the precinct as part of the management agreement.
“In line with the new brand, our teams are also looking forward to delivering the exceptional service and hospitality we are renowned for when the property comes under our management at the beginning of next month,” he said.
The rebrand to The Terrace Hotel is the first step in a year-long process to rebrand and reopen the three properties owned by 208 South Terrace Pty Ltd, with two others currently at various stages of a major AUD$15 million renovation and refurbishment program. New operating names for the remaining two hotels will be progressively unveiled over the remainder of 2021 and into next year.
