Kennigo Hotel Brisbane can be found in the inner-city suburb of Spring Hill.

Event Hospitality has added a 10th property to its Independent Collection portfolio, with the new Kennigo Hotel Brisbane going live under its new operating name from late July.

The 107-room property sits in the inner-city suburb of Spring Hill and was formerly known as Mantra Richmont Hotel Brisbane. It will now sit under the ‘Style’ pillar of the Independent Collection.

Member properties in the portfolio are able to retain individual branding, while backed by Event Hospitality’s sales, marketing and distribution expertise, while also gaining access to the company’s loyalty program, Priority Guest Rewards.

At the Kennigo Hotel Brisbane, guests will enjoy floor-to-ceiling windows with city or courtyard views, balconies, patios and a rooftop terrace, with additional guest facilities including a fitness centre and event space. A new restaurant and bar concept is in development and will be introduced in the coming months.

Event Hospitality Director of Hotels and Resorts, Norman Arundel, said he was thrilled to welcome the rebranded hotel to the Independent Collection.

“Event has the secured a full management agreement for the property and will lead its relaunch into market, taking control from 27 July 2021,” Arundel said.

Kennigo Hotel Owner, David Marriott from Partner High Street Holdings, he was eager to see the strong growth which would eventuate from the alignment with Event’s Independent Collection.
