As 2020 comes to a close and we make our plans for the festive season, it is important to reflect on the achievements that made up the challenging year that was 2020.

Team Recognition

This year we saw many of our team members recognised for their tenure with ahs hospitality, in fact in the month of November alone we saw a combined tenure of over 50 years amongst four of them alone. But the best recognition we could receive as a business in 2020 was the Housekeeper of the Year Sharleen Wells and highly commended Christian Tapia at the HM Awards.

Technology Partnerships

Capital investment continues to be at the forefront of our minds in hospitality and this year we have aligned with Knowcross. This solution assists us in streamlining efficiencies and provide reporting that just cannot be done manually. We saw 2020 as the launchpad for this solution and look to further utilise more industry innovations moving forward.

Compliance and Safety

2020 saw us work closer than ever with our teams in compliance and safety. This allowed us to better service the ever-changing needs of our hotel partners and to ensure we were building proper processes for the safety of all involved. This has earnt us notable recognition in this space from both the government and private sectors.

Flexibility

Our approach to working with our hotel partners has always been to provide the best outsourced housekeeping services. 2020 has shown that with the peaks and troughs of business modelling, we have been able to mirror this with our long-term contract agreements and services in provision of labour hire. We have been able to provide support throughout the year with efficient turnarounds in line with nationwide demand.

In wrapping up the year, from our family at ahs hospitality to yours, wherever you may be, we wish our clients, guests and industry partners an enjoyable and restful festive season!
