The winners of the 2020 HM Awards, presented by Sealy Posturepedic, are set to be announced at the annual gala presentation dinner on November 27 in Sydney.
The 2020 black tie event – which is co-hosted by AHS Hospitality, Intrust Super, Torrens University and the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School – will be held in the ballroom at Hyatt Regency Sydney and a limited number of tickets are now on sale.
Due to NSW Government restrictions, 216 people will be allowed to attend the event and the HM Awards will again be a showcase of the finest people, departments and properties in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
For those who are unable to attend in person, for the time ever the HM Awards will be live-streamed across the world direct from Hyatt Regency Sydney and will not just feature the 2020 winners, but also some leading entertainment.
Hundreds of nominees will contest almost 50 categories in 2020, with individual gongs honouring the best performing Hotel Chef, Bartender, Restaurant, Concierge and many more.
Hotel awards recognising the best in each market segment will be awarded, as will recognition for hotels displaying excellent Service to the Community, Tech Innovation, MICE capability, among others.
