All 32 rooms at Mount Lofty House have been upgraded in line with forthcoming development.

Four-poster beds, velvet upholstery and marble bathrooms are among the highlights of an AUD$3 million renovation and refurbishment just completed at Adelaide’s famed Mount Lofty House, AccorHotels has announced.

Following a further AUD$3 million investment, the original 1852-built summer house also now boasts a new reception area, restaurant, bar and conference facilities.

The upgrade comes in time for the pending completion of ‘Sequoia at Mount Lofty House’ – a collection of 14 new luxury suites which will open to guests later this year.

The $15 million development will be situated on the estate’s front escarpment, offering views over the Piccadilly Valley. Each villa will have a private balcony with views from every corner.
