Western Australia will join Choice Hotels Asia-Pacific’s boutique Ascend Hotel Collection from this Saturday 01 December, when the brand reopens the former Comfort Inn Bel Eyre Perth as the new Ingot Hotel Perth.

Located a few minutes from Perth Airport, the 214-room hotel will be the largest of Choice’s properties in Australia and the state’s only member of the Ascend Hotel Collection. The conversion comes following a $50 million redevelopment and brand change, with the hotel now offering larger rooms in a self-contained format, each equipped with full kitchen and laundry facilities.

On opening, the property will offer 24-hour reception, fitness centre, outdoor heated swimming pool, restaurant, lounge and conference facilities.

“Our hotel is accessible and convenient, catering to short-stay business visitors while also appealing to longer-stay travellers who will appreciate being located so close to both the airport and some of Perth’s major cultural and lifestyle highlights,” said General Manager Paul Rogers.

Choice Hotels Asia-Pac CEO, Trent Fraser, added: “The imminent launch of Ingot Hotel Perth, the largest property in Australia to join our partner network, is a very exciting milestone for the Choice Hotels Asia-Pac team and is a marker of our strong, continued growth in the region”.
