Stamford Plaza Adelaide spent more than $5 million on a top-to-toe refurbishment.

After three years and a total bill of more than $5 million, the Stamford Plaza Adelaide has completed its extensive renovation and refurbishment.

The last stage of the property-wide project sees 96 new-look Deluxe rooms added to the market, all located between the 14th and 19th floors and offering king beds and views over the Adelaide city, Torrens River, Riverbank Precinct and Adelaide Oval.

General Manager David Donald said the refurbishment works had been occurring in small stages since 2015 but now, the hotel offered some of the newest rooms in the city.

“We are very excited to launch the final 96 of our immaculately refurbished rooms at Stamford Plaza Adelaide. As one of Adelaide’s largest corporate and leisure hotels, it is vitally important that we offer our guests the very best in comfort, technology and food & beverage options”.

Donald said the decision to invest in the extensive refurbishment came following guest feedback and the desire to put the comfort of business and leisure customers at the forefront.
