Eleven brand new apartments have been added to Quest Scarborough, south of Perth, in a significant expansion for the beachfront serviced apartment property.

Including the new additions, Quest Scarborough now features 52 apartments ranging from self-contained studios to one and two-bedroom residences, all offering kitchen and laundry appliances. Property facilities also include a fitness centre, swimming pool and conference centre. The property is located 200 metres from Scarborough Beach and the centre of town.

Rapidly growing as a destination for both business travellers and tourists looking to stay out of the city, the expansion of Quest Scarborough comes at a time of consistently high occupancy at the property owed in part to several new high-rise residential complexes going up in the area. A $100 million council redevelopment of a number of beach-side parks, community amenities and recreation spaces has further driven the regeneration of the region.

Quest Scarborough franchisee Ronnie Yu said the new apartments would strengthen the property’s position as a premium accommodation provider in the region at a time of high demand.

“Most of our guests are travelling for business, therefore the property needed to provide a balance between offering a comfortable ‘home away from home’ as well as providing the facilities they require to work productively and efficiently,” Yu said.

As a wider brand, Quest Serviced Apartments is on track to deliver 12 new outlets over the next 18 months across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Of these, four are in Victoria, one each in the ACT, Western Australia and NSW, four in New Zealand and its first in the United Kingdom, to be built in the Merseyside city of Liverpool.
