Outgoing Tourism Australia MD, John O'Sullivan

Exclusive by James Wilkinson in Adelaide

The impact of Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE), currently being held in Adelaide this week (Apr 18), has hit extraordinary levels, according to Tourism Australia’s Managing Director, John O’Sullivan.

In an exclusive video interview with HM and sister travel website WAYFARER, he said ATE generates around 3-4 million of Australia’s 8 million inbound tourist visits, worth about $8-$9 billion annually.

In the interview, he spoke about inbound markets, air access, the ‘Dundee’ campaign that was launched at this year’s Super Bowl in the United States and much more.
