Marnong Estate is a new four-star resort currently under development in Melbourne’s north.
Set to open April 2018, the new $35 million development is located 15 minutes from Tullamarine Airport and will have a restaurant, vineyard, brewery, accommodation and an operational farm.
Marnong Estate’s 1860s homestead was originally the family home of pioneering businessman William Angliss. The main house has now been converted into 4.5-star accommodation featuring four twin share suites, all with queen beds and ensuites.
In addition to the homestead accommodation, there will be a day spa, a 250 guest capacity event space, a 250 seat restaurant, a vineyard, brewery, piazza, maze, farmers market and operational farm producing first class Angus Cattle.
Situated on 1,100 acres, the development of Marnong Estate is led by hospitality industry stalwart, Gerald Ackroyd.
He says, “This is a very exciting time for us and the local community as the development of Marnong Estate will allow residents throughout the Hume Corridor to have a wide range of choices for employment and entertainment.”
