Parkroyal Parramatta is set to finally unveil the hotel’s new Club Lounge and Club Rooms next Monday, August 22.

Following a AUD$25 million refurbishment and extension, the hotel is setting a new benchmark for business in the area as the largest hotel in Parramatta, boasting 286-rooms including 50 Premier Rooms, 40 Club Rooms, Club Lounge and a new state of the art gymnasium.

The only one of its kind in the Western Sydney city, Parkroyal Parramatta’s new Club Lounge will offer business executives and leisure travellers the same conveniences that Sydney CBD affords them.

Club guests will experience priority check-in and check-out, complimentary breakfast, drinks and canapés, refreshments throughout the day and sweeping views of the Parramatta skyline.

Perfectly positioned within Parramatta CBD and nearby Parramatta River, the hotel will feature distinctive city-inspired interiors within the new seven-storey tower.

The new refurbishment and extension draws on its natural surrounds with a palette of timber, stone and glass, designed by award-winning architecture firm Architectus.

Parkroyal Parramatta General Manager, Michael Johnson, said he is excited to be leading the hotel business development in the region, offering guests a modern and refreshing environment with new Club Rooms on sale this week.

“The Club Lounge and Club Rooms will set a new benchmark in Parramatta. At the heart of Sydney’s economic growth, corporate and leisure travellers can now enjoy the very best of facilities as we raise the bar on hotel quality in the region,” he said.

Continuing their strong business position in the market, Parkroyal Parramatta will also unveil five new meeting rooms to offer a total of 13 meeting and event spaces, the largest conference venue hotel in Western Sydney.

“As Parramatta continues to experience exponential growth in business and leisure travel, it is important to recognise the need for spaces that cater to the growing market,” Johnson said.

“However, our refurbishment and extension has also allowed us to reflect on a local level, ensuring we are a destination for travellers and locals alike,” he said.

Referring to the existing BAR:30 premises on the ground floor of the hotel, the extension will unveil a new look Bar 30 and Bistro to introduce an alfresco dining element that captures the vibrant local “eat street” atmosphere.

For locals, nearby office workers and hotel guests, the new Bar 30 and Bistro will offer a welcoming space for drinks, dining and friends to get together.
