QT Sydney staff

No stranger to quirk and doing things differently, the highly anticipated QT Melbourne will open its doors in September, but that won’t be before scouting exceptional talent first.

Like the company did when it opened its flagship Sydney property, QT Melbourne will host a recruitment day on 11 and 12 July and in signature QT style, this won’t be your average recruitment process.

The newest addition to QT Hotels and Resorts, the new-build QT Melbourne will employ buskers, street artists and surprises at their two-day recruitment in Melbourne in a bid to find staff who embody everything QT – fashion, art and design, architecture, food and drink and entertainment.

As part of the ‘auditions’, prospective QT Staff can also expect impromptu interviews and performances in order to let personality shine through.

QT is seeking individuals with a passion for the creative industries and devoted interest in exceptional hospitality, and with job descriptions like “Director of Chaos”, the company says you can expect the unexpected at QT.

Building on a global reputation for bold interiors and luxury but quirky hospitality, QT Melbourne –inspired by the rag traders of the early 1900’s in nearby Flinders Lane and the French fashion influence of the Paris end of Collins Street – will bring a chic new designer landmark to the city’s cultural heartland, transforming the Russell Street address.

Unrivalled newly inspired drinking and dining establishments await, delivering an edgy and eclectic experience to the precinct.

Dedicated to upholding a world-class reputation, QT is offering a broad range of career paths for people with varied experience and professional backgrounds to work alongside an innovative team of influencers, culinary experts and cutting-edge product, all of which are synonymous with this ground breaking hospitality brand.
