Sofitel has opened the doors of its second property in Singapore, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa.
Located on popular Sentosa island, the Sofitel’s design reflects a bold and elegant style that cleverly integrates the surrounding nature within the hotel’s various buildings, with exacting attention to detail that brings Sofitel’s art de vivre to life.
“We are delighted to open a new luxury resort hotel in Singapore and look forward to bringing Sofitel’s renowned levels of culinary delights and hospitality to our guests,” says Vincent Lelay, Cluster General Manager of Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa and Sofitel So Singapore.
“The Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa represents a significant step for Sofitel in further increasing its presence in Southeast Asia, and bringing French elegance and sophistication to the increasingly discerning travellers in this region.”
With 211 rooms and suites plus four villas, the hotel also features the world’s largest So SPA, four F&B options, over 1,300 sqm of MICE facilities, a 33-metre swimming pool and more than 27 acres of tropical woodlands, offering guests a sense of relaxed sophistication and urban resort living. As the only hotel at Sentosa that overlooks the South China Sea, the resort also offers easy access to Tanjong Beach.
“The Sofitel brand brings to Sentosa its distinctive French flair embodied in the resort’s artful decor, quality of service and culinary expertise. We are pleased to see how Sofitel has managed to blend the historical architectural accents of the colonial buildings with its contemporary interiors and lush landscape, making it an endearing sanctuary for our guests,” says Susan Ang, Divisional Director, Island Investment and Branding, Sentosa Development Corporation.
Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa offers some of the finest dining options in the Lion City. Kwee Zeen is a casual, yet upscale all-day dining restaurant with open kitchen counters that creates an innovative dining experience for unforgettable memories.
Serving a wide selection of Asian, Western and French cuisines, guests can indulge in the best gourmet dining while enjoying spectacular views of the sparkling sea and landscaped gardens, along with fresh, cooling sea breezes.
The newly revamped Conference Centre is designed to merge with the natural elements surrounding the venue. Boasting two ballrooms, 15 meeting rooms, outdoor verandahs and a bridal suite, the pillarless meeting rooms allow natural light to illuminate the space and stretches out to the outdoor lawn, making it an ideal venue for corporate brainstorming sessions, team building, leadership training, cocktail receptions or wedding solemnizations.
In addition, the hotel is collaborating with DirectStreams, a long standing technology partner of Sofitel, to offer the latest fully-connected innovative lifestyle technology through DirectStreams’ LG Smart TV Guest solution, allowing guests the best technology experience to meet the needs of a diverse audience, from young tech savvy and business travellers to leisure and resort vacationers.
