Quest Apartment Hotels opened its tenth Brisbane property and second in the suburb of Chermside – Quest Chermside on Playfield at 38-40 Playfield Street.

Quest CEO, Zed Sanjana expressed his excitement about opening the brand new Queensland property within one of Brisbane’s most promising commercial centres.

“Chermside is seen as the primary economic and employment hub of Brisbane’s northern region; key industries driving this growth include health care, retail and manufacturing. The local economy is going from strength to strength with growing demand for Quest’s unique style of high quality corporate accommodation,” Sanjana said.

“I am thrilled to open Quest Chermside on Playfield today – our third opening in the state this year taking the total of Quest properties in Queensland to 17. Queensland is one of our key growth markets and are very excited to further solidify our local presence and reaffirm our commitment to investing in the state’s future.

“According to Tourism and Events Queensland, international business visitors to the state grew by 11.5% in the year ending June 2015, with total international visitor numbers increasing by almost 8%. Domestic business tourism increased by a significant 28% during the same period.

Quest Chermside on Playfield Franchisee, Nicole Carr expressed her enthusiasm about the new property and pride in being part of the ever-growing Quest network.

Quest Chermside on Playfield was developed by Treelight Development Group and boasts 78 serviced apartments, comprising a mix of studio, one and two bedroom configurations, a number of which feature balconies.

The one and two bedrooms apartments contain fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities with a separate living and dining area. All guests have access to complimentary Wi-Fi, a gymnasium, on-site parking and conference room facilities.

The coming 18 months sees an extensive pipeline of new property openings for Quest across Australasia, opening in 13 locations. In addition to Chermside on Playfield, this includes: West Perth, Mounts Bay Road, East Perth and Fremantle (WA); Chatswood, St Leonards, Newcastle, Bella Vista and Macquarie Park (NSW); Dandenong Central (VIC); Port Adelaide (SA); and Petone (New Zealand).
