HM can reveal Escarpment Group’s new Parklands property in the NSW Blue Mountains is set to open on September 15, 2014.

Parklands Country Gardens and Lodges is situated within a stunning 28 acre heritage property which adjoins the Blue Mountains National Park in Blackheath.

When it opens on September 15, Parklands will open its sweeping gates on Govett’s Leap Road to welcome a variety of leisure, conference and wedding guests through its doors.

The retreat’s new look and feel comes after an extensive AUD$8.5 million refurbishment project that has seen the seven garden cottages and main guesthouse totally transformed.

The refurbishment also included wedding and conference spaces, a day spa and chef’s kitchen gardens.

The refurbishment project is part of the resort’s rebranding to the Escarpment Group of luxury hotels and will see the hotel introduce a focus on its lush country spaces, gardens and regional food all set within the surrounds of the Blue Mountains landscape.

GUEST ROOMS AND COTTAGES
The seven garden cottages each contain four guest suites that have received a total makeover with new lounge spaces, bedrooms, inbuilt gas fireplaces, carpets, new bathrooms and luxurious furnishings in elegant, neutral tones of beige, grey and fresh white.

The spacious guest rooms feature both loft and garden options, with comfortable cushions throws in a neutral beige, grey and fresh white colour palette.
Decoration is modern Hamptons with touches of blues and green.

The loft rooms located on the first floor of each cottage feature an open plan design which includes gas fireplaces with a either day bed or Juliette balcony options overlooking the garden and wooded views outside.

Garden suites on the ground floor feature a separate bedroom and separate lounge room, which opens out to a courtyard space overlooking the gardens. All guest rooms include complimentary mini bar, WiFi and parking.

MAIN HOUSE
The Main House, lounge and breakfast rooms have also undergone a transformation with new, paint, furniture and fixtures such as Elk Horn chandeliers, French striped wing back arm chairs and sofas, wooden mantles and gas fireplaces with original artworks. French doors line the light filled dining spaces in the Lakeview Restaurant, which will feature outdoor views and food menus inspired from around the region with fruit and vegetable produce the kitchen gardens.

THE DAY SPA
Includes four treatment rooms with facilities for both individual and couples treatments, ranging from hot stone massage to deep soaks in their luxurious new baths overlooking the extensive gardens. The new range of treatments feature Kerstin Florian range of inspired products from nature.

WEDDINGS
The main function space, The Karawerra Room, named after the original homestead, has French doors and is filled with natural light and is adjacent to the gazebo that has floor to ceiling windows with its own romantic fireplace and gas fire for winter weddings. Karawerra opens directly onto the outdoor terrace with English-style gardens, a classic water feature and outdoor fireplace. Seating is available for up to 60 Guests.

DINING
Parkland’s dining options for phase one will include an extensive fresh country-style continental buffet with fresh juices, pastries and fruits. Other package options include a hot plated breakfast.

Parklands is the third hotel to join the Escarpment Group which includes Lilianfels Resort and Spa, Echoes Boutique Hotel and Restaurant and the soon to –re-open Hydro Majestic Blue Mountains.
