One of Australia’s largest business to business publishing and events companies – The Intermedia Group – has an exciting opportunity for a professional and enthusiastic sales manager to work in the food and hospitality industries across digital media, print media and events servicing those sectors.
As the Media Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling advertising and sponsorships within a new division of titles serving the fastest-growing areas of food retail and hospitality.
The titles, which include both digital and print products, are supported by experienced editorial staff and management. You will play a fundamental role in maximising the commercial potential of these products, by developing new business and managing existing clients. This is a hands-on selling role requiring outstanding customer relationship skills.
By implementing a range of sales strategies and by creating integrated media and sponsorship packages tailored to your clients’ needs, you will grow revenue and achieve individual budgets.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales and preferably but not essentially have experience in business-to-business media sales or the food and hospitality industries. Experience dealing with food suppliers/wholesalers would be an advantage, as would a specific understanding of selling online.

In return for your efforts, you will be compensated with a competitive base salary plus superannuation, and access to an uncapped commission incentive scheme.
