Wyndham has released the first images of the soon-to-open Tryp Fortitude Valley, a property that is also now taking bookings for stays from September 1, 2014, onwards.

The new property will become the first hotel in Australia to open under the global, select-service Tryp by Wyndham brand.

The 4.5-star hotel is now accepting reservations for stays beginning September 1, 2014, with rates ranging from AUD$224 per room per night in a queen room to AUD$499 per room per night in the hotel’s chic king rooms, which boast generously sized balconies with open air spas and views of Fortitude Valley.

It will feature a range of room types, including king rooms with a choice of balcony spa, internal spa or courtyard, and queen rooms.

Each room boasts progressive and bold décor, including artwork and murals by renowned street artists Rone, Beastman, Magee and Numskull.

“We believe Tryp Fortitude Valley Hotel will offer an experience unlike any other in Brisbane,” said Barry Robinson, Managing Director of Wyndham Hotel Group in the South Pacific.

“It will also create an entirely new, value-driven option for corporate travellers and weekend revelers who want to stay within the heart of Brisbane’s most vibrant entertainment and corporate hub.”

The guest experience includes free Wi-Fi, iPod docking station with Bluetooth, interactive lifestyle panel televisions with movies on demand, self and valet parking, room service, onsite gym and a meeting room with a boardroom table and library to host gatherings of up to 12 people. Hotel guests can also use this meeting space to spread out and work when it is not in use.

Tryp Fortitude Valley will also be home to Brisbane’s newest rooftop bar, UP and a vibrant new restaurant at the lobby level, Chur. Both venues will be run by acclaimed chef Warren Turnbull.

The rooftop bar has a capacity of up to 120 seated guests and 240 people for cocktail style events.

The Fortitude Valley hotel is being developed by its owner, Jay McPhee and will be managed by Wyndham Hotel Group’s management company.
