Minor Group’s Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort and Spa in Thailand has reopened following an AUD$5.8 million renovation.

“Our guests now benefit from a wider choice of luxurious accommodations and enhanced food and beverage, relaxation and event facilities, all culminating in an impressive enhancement to the overall resort experience,” said Anantara Bophut General Manager Manish Jha.

Most of the rooms were expanded and the Anantara Beachfront Pool Suites have had 20 square metre private pools added to the ocean front.

A new hospitality area with showers and snacks has been introduced for early check-ins and late departures and all the restaurant, lobby, ballroom, meeting facilities and public spaces have been refreshed and updated.

A new purpose built Baan Ling Noi (Thai for little monkey) Children’s Club has opened and is offering pizza making classes, sandcastle building, mini garden soccer, treasure hunts, trampolines and  coconut painting classes.
