Best Western’s global hotel loyalty program, Best Western Rewards, is offering a status match for guests.

As part of Best Western Australasia’s ‘Status Match, No Catch’ program, guests who hold an elite status with another hotel loyalty program can now upgrade their Best Western Rewards status to the equivalent tier.

Guests can apply for this upgrade on check-in at their hotel or by completing an online form at www.bestwestern.com.au

Steve Richards, Best Western Australasia General Manager Sales and Marketing said offer now gives “guests more reasons to stay with Best Western’s 4,200 hotels worldwide, especially if they hold an elite status with another hotel loyalty program”.

“Loyalty programs are a big reason people keep returning to certain hotels, to earn more loyalty points and receive special deals, discounted items and free room nights,” Richards said.

“Our new status match program allows our existing Best Western Rewards members who have attained a higher tier with another hotel loyalty program, to now be promoted to the equivalent elite status for their Best Western Rewards account.

“When a guest who is not a Best Western Rewards member walks into a hotel, we can sign them up to our loyalty program for free and upgrade their membership tier to match another hotel program’s elite status,” he said.

Guests who want to claim a higher tier on check-in should show Best Western staff their current card or statement from another hotel loyalty program to verify their status.
