Sir Richard Branson’s Mahali Mzuri tented camp in Kenya is set to open on August 1.
Mahali Mzuri is the newest addition to Virgin Limited Edition, Branson’s collection of private retreats and is situated within the Motorogi Conservancy in the Maasai Mara ecosystem of Kenya, about 240km due west of Nairobi.
Due to its location in the Motorogi Conservancy guests can enjoy a front row seat to view the year-round abundant game well as the Great Migration, usually taking place between July and October. Mahali Mzuri consists of 12 sleeper tents and can cater for a maximum of 24 guests at any one time.
The property is celebrating the opening with a free night offer. For arrivals from 1st September onwards, when guests book to stay a minimum of 5 nights their final night will be free.
Rates during high season start from USD$995 per person per night based on shared double occupancy and include all meals, drinks, game drives and transfers from the nearest airstrip.
