The Accommodation Association of Australia (AAoA) is getting set to host its Achievers’ Awards on Monday December 10.

The Accommodation Achievers’ Awards, to be held at Hilton Sydney’s Marble Bar, will be hosted by television personality Tony Squires and will be combined with the Accommodation Association’s end of year seasonal celebration.

According to AAoA, this year’s ceremony will be a “change from the conventional awards format, this year entrants in seven people-based categories have been asked to submit a three minute video of themselves outlining the favourite part of their role, the skills they’ve acquired and their passion for the industry”.

AAoA CEO Richard Munro said the Accommodation Achievers’ Awards aim “to uncover new industry talent and give the hardworking people of Australia’s accommodation industry an opportunity to shine”.

“People awards provide an excellent opportunity to motivate and inspire your team, in addition to recognising and rewarding the professionalism of individuals who embody the hospitable values at the core of the accommodation industry,” Munro said.

“We believe that it’s possible to celebrate the talented people in our industry whilst retaining a sense of excitement. Our goal is to make this year’s event fresh, fun and entertaining for all involved which is a direct reflection of the industry we represent”.

Tickets can be purchased via the Association’s website www.aaoa.com.au
