Terrace Hotel Bar

Terrace Hotel BarPerth’s newest property, The Terrace Hotel, is set to celebrate its official opening on November 24 with a flurry of Tweets, Facebook updates and Instagram images during a ‘social media sleepover’.

The social media sleepover, to be tagged #SocMedSleepover, will bring together a cross section of social media influencers to celebrate the launch of the 15-room hotel.

The Terrace Hotel’s Marketing and Events Manager, Meg Coffey, said The Terrace Hotel was “set to become a benchmark of accommodation, business and lifestyle entertainment”.

“Set amongst modern buildings, the heritage-listed St George’s House has been rebuilt with immense care and attention to detail and is sure to please the seasoned business traveller, discerning tourist or sophisticated city patron,” she said.

“Built in 1892, the building has led many lives before its most recent transformation into a luxury hotel, bar and restaurant with private dining and function facilities.

“The hotel pays homage to its history, yet incorporates all the modern luxuries and indulgences imaginable including in-room iPads, Bang and Olufsen sound and television systems, Apple TV and Foxtel IQ fully integrated for the guests’ enjoyment,” Coffey said.

With just the 15 rooms available, she said deciding which influencers to invite for the #SocMedSleepover was “a tough decision”.

“We wanted to create a group that is a cross section of all types, from a foodie, to a couple, a fashionista to a photographer – a good mix,” Coffey said.
