A smokin' Dark & Stormy at Zeta Bar

Hilton Sydney’s Zeta Bar has launched its latest Friday Night Concept – Coney Island – and it promises evenings of the unexpected, perfectly paradoxical and the weird and wonderful.

Held every Friday starting at 6pm until the end of October, Zeta Bar will be “magically transformed into the Greatest Show On Earth” according to the hotel.

Guests can experience Coney Island’s celebration of the bizarre, served with side of unexpected dark and luxe, Zeta style. Circus-inspired freak shows, tarot card readers, a tattooist, funfair games of coconut shy, strongman acts, hot dog stands and circus sideshows are all part of the run.

All this combined with a range of specially concocted twisted 1950s cocktails, from Cider-spiked toffee apples, Cosmopolitan Candy Floss, Long Island Iced Tea snow cones and ‘Alchoshakes’ as well as a ‘Nitro shooter bar’.

A contortionist at Zeta Bar

The inventive Coney Island concept is the brainchild of Grant Collins, Zeta Bar’s international bar consultant and mixologist, responsible for also launching Farmer’s Market and Extreme Cabaret among other concepts.
