Maikhao Dream Resort and Spa, Phuket

A small stretch of pristine beach just north of Phuket is quickly becoming the new go-to destination for Australian travellers to Thailand.

It’s all happening at the recently opened, 56-room Maikhao Dream Resort and Spa, located on the picturesque Natai Beach on Phuket Island.

Maikhao Resorts’ Australian GSA, Jodi Ryan from Black Pearl Solutions, says the new property, which overlooks the Andaman Sea, has been thoughtfully designed to blend in with the natural surrounds creating a new and distinctive style of resort living – that’s a key factor that is attracting strong demand from down under.

“Whether it’s casual or fine dining our indoor and outdoor restaurants offer something for everyone, all year round,” she says. “Of course there’s fresh authentic Thai food, but we also specialise in Mediterranean and international cuisines.

“And Maikhao Dream Resort and Spa is also geared to host medium sized conferences and is becoming increasing popular with Australians for wedding receptions and honeymoons.”

The Maikhao Dream Resort and Spa offers 56 one-, two- and three-bedroom suites complete with private plunge pools.
