Platinum rated Industry Super Fund Intrust Super has won this year’s SuperRatings Best New Innovation Award for its Online Super Transfer Form, which allows members to find their lost super and then consolidate all of their accounts in one easy step.

The fund, which was also a finalist for this year’s Super of the Year Award, launched the tool earlier this year to make it easier for members to consolidate their super, regardless of how many accounts they have.

SuperRatings stated that Intrust Super’s Online Super Transfer Tool was the worthy recipient of the award due to its simplicity, effectiveness and ease of member interaction and usability.

Intrust Super Chief Executive Officer, Brendan O’Farrell, said the award cemented Intrust Super’s position as one of Australia’s most innovative and progressive super funds.

“This award, together with our nomination as one of the top 10 super funds in the country, recognises our efforts to continually deliver enhanced products and services to our members.

“This is the second year in a row that we’ve been nominated for the Best New Innovation award, having been nominated last year for our stand alone, not-for-profit financial planning service, Intrust360°.

“We’re very proud to receive this award, and will continue to seek out new ways to enhance our members’ experience with us,” he said.

O’Farrell said the award also proved that bigger doesn’t always mean better.

“Medium and smaller-sized funds are often able to move faster and more efficiently to develop innovative products that enhance their members’ experience,” he said.

“In addition to the Online Super Transfer Form and Intrust360°, we’ve also been able to offer our members a range of additional benefits such as travel and general insurance, which has helped us provide a better overall member experience,” he said.
