These days AUD$1 might buy you a bottle of water or a chocolate bar if you’re lucky, because it doesn’t stretch far - that is unless guests stay with Ibis hotels, where just $1 will buy them their choice of either WiFi internet, parking or breakfast.
To celebrate its new $1 deals, Ibis hotels are also giving guests the chance to win $80,000 worth of prizes, including a Vespa, iPad2 and home entertainment systems – and they don’t even have to stay with them to enter.
Rates for Ibis hotels start from AUD $137 per night, and the $1 extras are available for stays from 1 April to 30 June 2011. The free-to-enter competition, however, will offer prizes each month for a year and winners will pay just $1 to take delivery of their prize once their name is drawn.
